HC Deb 28 September 1915 vol 74 cc747-8W
Mr. KENNEDY

asked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) if he will receive a deputation from the county council of Cavan, numerous other councils, and representative public men, to discuss the propriety of withdrawing dairy instructors at this particular time?

Mr. T. W. RUSSELL

The reasons which made it necessary for the Department to dispense with the services of the instructors referred to were explained to the hon. Member in the reply given him on 16th instant. Under the circumstances there would, in the Department's opinion, be nothing gained by the proposed deputation.
