§ Commander BELLAIRSasked the President of the Board of Trade whether very large profits are being made under the insurance scheme against air risks; and whether he can see his way to bring about a downward revision of these rates?
Mr. RUNCIMANThe Government aircraft insurance scheme has not been in operation sufficiently long to enable any estimate whatever to be formed as to whether a profit will or will not be made. It is not proposed to reduce the rates.
