§ Mr. LLOYD GEORGECapital Grants for sanatoria will continue to be made where necessary, and, subject to the same proviso, local authorities will not be prohibited from borrowing for the same purpose. As regards loans under the Mental Deficiency Act, I do not think that capital expenditure for this purpose is desirable at the present time in the absence of very special considerations.
