HC Deb 11 May 1914 vol 62 c740W
Mr. CROFT

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will complete the figures, in the Board of Trade "Labour Gazette," on trade unions in April, 1914; whether he is aware that in the "Gazette" for May, 1909, on pages 154–5, under the head Trade Unions in 1905–7, there are four tables as to the membership, income and expenditure of trade unions, bringing the figures up to 1907, and in the "Gazette" for April, 1914, three of these tables are brought up to the end of 1912 and, if so, can a fourth table be giver showing the expenditure up to 1912 incurred by the 100 principal unions upon unemployed benefit for the various years?

Mr. BURNS

A table giving the in formation desired was crowded out of the April issue of the "Labour Gazette," but will appear in the May number which will be published in a few days. Meanwhile I am causing an advance copy to be sent to the hon. Member.
