asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies where the Government orders were placed in the years 1911, 1912, and 1913 for the permanent-way fasteners, fish bolts and nuts, fang bolts, dog spikes, and rail screws which were required for use with the rails ordered by the Government in the same years from Messrs. Guest, Keen and Nettlefold's foundry at Cwm Bran?

During the three years 1911–12–13, ten contracts for ordinary rails and fishplates were placed with Messrs. Guest, Keen and Nettlefold. Orders for subsidiary supplies of the kind specified were placed as follows, in connection with these contracts:—

1911— 1 and 2. Fish bolts, Messrs. Guest, Keen and Nettlefold.
Coach screws, Messrs. Jas. Reid and Co., Messrs. Willis, Stewart and Co. Agents for two Belgian firms.
3 and 4. Fish bolts, Messrs. Guest, Keen and Nettlefold.
Coach screws, Société Anonymedes Usines Gilson (Belgium).,
5. Fish bolts and dog spikes, Messrs. Guest, Keen and Nettlefold.
1912— 6. Fish bolts and dog spikes, The phœnix Bolt and Nut Company.

1913— 9. No subsidiary supplies were ordered in connection with this contract.
