HC Deb 30 July 1914 vol 65 c1597W
Mr. MacVEAGH

asked the Chief Secretary when it is proposed to give effect to the recommendations of the Committee which recently inquired into the pay and administration of the Royal Irish Constabulary?

Mr. BIRRELL

It is my intention that certain of the recommendations" of the Committee which do not require legislative sanction shall be carried out with the least possible delay, and I propose to introduce a Bill to-day for the purpose of giving effect to other recommendations.
