HC Deb 23 February 1914 vol 58 c1427W
Mr. CROFT

asked the Secretary for the Colonies whether his attention has been called to the fact that dissatisfaction exists in Cyprus with regard to the government thereof; and whether he has received any communications on the subject from the Cyprus Merchants' Federation?

Mr. HARCOURT

I have not received any communication from the body to which the hon. Member refers; and I think that the people of Cyprus are as well satisfied with their present Government as they have been with any previous Government in the history of the Island.
