REESasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether the remuneration allowed to sub-postmasters works out at less than one halfpenny for each £l worth of insurance stamps sold; whether only 10s. is paid on account after the performance of upwards of six months' work; and, if so, whether he will consider the provision of more adequate payment?
