§ Major ARCHER-SHEEasked the President of the Board of Trade how many principal nautical officers and nautical surveyors, not including engineer or ship surveyors, are now employed under the Marine Department of the Board of Trade?
Mr. ROBERTSONThere are at present four nautical principal officers and fifteen nautical surveyors employed under the Marine Department at the outports, and there is one vacancy. These numbers will be increased very shortly.
