§ Mr. WILLIAM ABRAHAMasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that dissatisfaction exists in the telephone department of the Dublin Post Office with regard to the recent increase of late duties after 8 p.m.; and whether, in view of the recommendations of the Hobhouse Committee that the employment of women telephonists should be restricted to the hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., he will state the reasons for extending the hours of duty of these women and the handing over of the night telephone work to the male staff at so late an hour as 9 p.m.?
