940,383 113,254
914,472 99,430
896,962 94,579
(provisional) 881,241 114,603
The numbers of children living at the ages of one and five years have not been estimated for each of the past twenty years. The number of children aged from one to two years enumerated in 1891 was 691,590, and in 1901, 727,795; these numbers are probably somewhat understated. The numbers enumerated at the age of five to six years were not tabulated, but are estimated to have been 678,147 in 1891 and 692,888 in 1901.
