§ Mr. GUINEYasked the cause of the delay in forwarding to Mr. J. M. Kirby, national teacher, Cullen, county Cork, the amount of results fees earned by him for teaching the Irish language during the year ended 30th June, 1912.
§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Commissioners of National Education inform me that the delay has been due to unavoidable correspondence with the Board's inspectors on points arising in this case, connected with the non-compliance with the Commissioners' Regulations concerning the teaching of the subject. The necessary inquiries have now been completed, and the payment of the fees will be made at an early date.
