HC Deb 20 June 1912 vol 39 c2002W
Lord NINIAN CRICHTON-STUART

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether he will state what steps he proposes to take in connection with the Strathmiglo water supply?

Mr. McKINNON WOOD

The Local Government Board have had under consideration a Report by their medical inspector on Strathmiglo water supply. A copy of this Report was communicated to the local authority for their consideration on 20th May, with a request that they would at once take steps to introduce a proper water supply to the village. A reply was received yesterday from the local authority, saying that they did not see their way to do so. In view of the position thus created, the matter is receiving further attention, but I am not yet in a. position to make any further statement with regard to it.
