asked the President of the Board of Trade how many National Insurance Act and Labour Exchanges appointments recently made have been given to existing Civil servants; the nature of the appointments; and the rank of the officers receiving them and the Department to which they were previously attached?

Thirty-two appointments on the establishment of the Labour Exchange and Unemployment Insurance Branch have been given to existing Civil servants as follows since 1st January, 1912:—
