HC Deb 04 May 1911 vol 25 c725W
Lord CHARLES BERESFORD

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether the Admiralty have now finally settled the compensation to be paid to Mrs. Horn, whose husband died of lead poisoning contracted while working for the State; if so, what amount has been granted; whether the costs claimed have been paid; and, if not, when the compensation and costs will be settled?

Mr. McKENNA

As stated in reply to a question by the Noble Lord on 14th February last, full compensation amounting to £266 2s. 2d. has been paid to Mrs. Horn. As regards costs, I have nothing to add to the replies I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Barrow-in-Furness on 6th and 25th April last.
