asked the President of the Board of Trade if the Departmental Committee on Railway Amalgamations and Working Agreements has finished its sittings, and when it is expected to issue its report?

Mr. BUXTON said

I understand that the Committee have concluded the hearing of evidence, but that it is not yet possible to say when the report will be issued.

Mr. HUDSON

asked the President of the Board of Trade if he will lay upon the Table of the House a list of names of railway companies who have entered into working agreements, with the names of two or more combined?

Mr. BUXTON

The Railway Returns show all cases where one railway company works the railway of another company. In the case of other agreements, which my hon. Friend may have in mind, the Board of Trade have no complete information.
