HC Deb 15 December 1911 vol 32 c2825W
Mr. LYNCH

asked the Postmaster-General whether his attention has been called to the fact that the time table for the mail trains has been changed in West Clare, so that mails that were formerly due to arrive at Kilrush at eight o'clock in the morning are now timed to arrive at 8.50 o'clock and sometimes arrive at 9.30 o'clock, so that merchants in the town do not receive their letters till 10.15 o'clock; and whether, in view of the inconvenience to business men in the whole district west of Miltown Malbay, he will make arrangements whereby the mails will arrive in good time?

Mr. HERBERT SAMUEL

I am having inquiry made and I will communicate the result to the hon. Member.
