HC Deb 14 December 1911 vol 32 cc2691-2W
Major ARCHER-SHEE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that discontent exists among the warrant officers of the Royal Artillery with the present regulations which limit the age of promotion to commission as lieutenant on the list of district officers to those who are not over forty years of age; and whether he will cause an inquiry to be made into this matter with a view to raising the age limit?

Colonel SEELY

I must ask the hon. and gallant Gentleman to refer to my reply to a question put on this subject by my hon. Friend the Member for Woolwich on 11th May, to which I have nothing to add?
