Mr. CROOKSasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether soldiers who were wounded overseas and are now in hospital at home are entitled to the bonus granted to the New Army; and, if so, from what date?
§ Mr. FORSTERThe circumstances under which the first issue of the bonus is affected by a soldier being in hospital are fully set out in paragraph 2 of Army Order 84, of which I will send my right hon. Friend a copy. All serving soldiers will receive the bonus from the 1st May.
