§ Mr. LLOYD-GEORGEThe provision to which the hon. Member refers is that a person holding an off-licence to be taken out by a retailer of spirits may not sell spirits in open vessels. The object of this provision is to prevent the sale of spirits in glasses or jugs, or otherwise than in sealed vessels,e.g., bottles or jars.
