§ Mr. MAURICE HEALYasked the Postmaster-General whether a complaint was recently made by the Commercial Cable Company of the inefficiency of the present telegraph engineering staff of the South of Ireland to adjust their lines and of the consequent serious delay to their business; whether a complaint of a similar character was made by the postmaster of Buttevant on the occasion of the last Cahirmee horse fair; if he will state the result of his inquiries into these complaints; and whether, in view of the number of such complaints, he will reconsider the transfer of work of this kind from the civil to the military engineering staff?
