§ Mr. HALDANEThe hon. and gallant Member appears to have misunderstood previous replies on this subject. The total number allowed to be cast per battery amounts to 10 per cent. of the establishment,i.e., six horses per battery. Of these the divisional and brigade commanders are allowed to cast 4 per cent., the remainder being reserved for casting by the War Office.
