§ Colonel SEELYThere has been no rising in Northern Nigeria. There was an attack by some Pagan natives on a small body of native police, accompanied by three British officers, one of whom, I regret to say, was killed. The disturbance was purely local, and occurred not far from a place where a detachment of the West African Frontier Force was present.
