§ Mr. BIRRELLThe Belfast Corporation decided last autumn to proceed with the erection of a new abattoir, and the necessary plans have been completed. The Corporation deferred taking further action pending consideration of a report to be made by a deputation appointed to visit abattoirs in other countries. The Local Government Board understand that the report will shortly be laid before the Corporation.
