§ Mr. SYDNEY BUXTONTerms were quoted some time ago for telephone extensions under guarantee to various places in county Down, but the terms were not accepted. A proposal for providing the service more cheaply is now under consideration, and, if this found to be practicable, offers will be made to provide the service for lower guarantees, which I hope may prove acceptable.
