§ Petition of Sir Edward Hamilton Seymour, K.B.E., C.B., C.M.G., praying their Lordships that he may be relieved from proving the pedigree and extinction of the male issue of the second marriage of the first Duke of Somerset, and that their Lordships will be pleased to be satisfied, if he submits and proves before the Committee for Privileges that he is heir male of the body of the 1st Duke of Somerset and heir male of the body of Edward, 8th Duke of Somerset: read, and referred to the Committee for Privileges.
