HL Deb 22 July 1991 vol 531 c520

22 Clause 8, page 6, line 45, leave out and insert

'III'.

The Lord Chancellor

My Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 22. In doing so, I shall speak also to Amendments Nos. 69, 74, 75, 90, 96, 97, 112, 119 and 120.

These amendments are of a minor and technical drafting character. They came to light as being necessary as a result of the careful examination of the Bill which was made when various other amendments were put forward. I hope that your Lordships will be prepared to accept these amendments on that basis.

Moved, That the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 22.—(The Lord Chancellor.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
