§ Lord StrathclydeMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 225. The purpose of this paragraph is to prevent repeated applications for extensions of permitted hours within two years of a refusal by a board unless the board makes a direction to the contrary.
