§ 89 Clause 35, page 29, line 16, at end insert:
- '(aa) by a body corporate at any time when it is an authorised practitioner;'.
§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 89. This is an important but technical amendment. Clause 35 excluded the restrictions imposed by Section 22 of the Solicitors Act for officers and employees of a body corporate at any time when that body is an authorised practitioner but did not do the same for the body corporate itself when that body is an authorised practitioner. The amendment closes the gap.
Moved, That the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 89. —(The Lord Chancellor.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
