§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 94. The subject of this amendment was Originally raised in Committee in this House by the noble Lord, Lord Prys-Davies. The present amendment was subsequently moved in another place. The purpose of the amendment is to ensure that when making regulations on the competence and conduct of authorised practitioners the Lord Chancellor has power to cover matters such as the personal interview and any charges for it. I am sure that it will be welcomed by the House.
