924§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 412.
In moving this amendment, I should like to speak also to Amendments Nos. 420, 424, 425 and 432 to 436. These amendments concern the repeals schedule. Amendment No. 412 removes an incorrect repeal of Section 103 to the Children and Young Persons Act 1933. Amendment No. 435 removes an unnecessary repeal of paragraph 49(b) and (c) of Schedule 4 to the Health and Social Services and Social Security Adjudications Act 1983.
The other amendments simply add repeals of those provisions of statutes which will be made obsolete when the Bill comes into force. Therefore they are appropriate for repeal by this schedule.
