§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 247.
Amendment No. 247 extends the warrant provison to support various powers of entry which have been included in new provisions in the Bill. These are in relation to the inspection of premises where day care is provided, children accommodated in residential care homes, nursing homes and mental nursing homes and the welfare of children in independent schools.
