§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 163. In speaking to this amendment I speak also to Amendment No. 246. These amendments are to make clear that where a police constable is authorised by a court warrant to assist a person to exercise certain powers he may use reasonable force if necessary.
