6 Page 11, line 10, leave out 'two-wheeled motor cycle' and insert 'motor bicycle'.

7 Page 11, line 18, leave out 'two-wheeled cycles' and insert 'motorbicycles'.

My Lords, I beg to move that this House do agree with the Commons in their Amendments Nos. 5 to 7 en bloc. At the same time I should also like to speak to Amendments Nos. 16 to 20.

These are drafting amendments to make it clear that compulsory basic training will apply to riders of motorcycle and side-car combinations as well as solo machines. All the amendments seek to clarify the law relating to combinations.
