§ Whether they plan to introduce any animal welfare legislation during the present Session.
§ Baroness TrumpingtonThe Government plan to introduce orders on the welfare of farm livestock and horses at markets and an amendment of the transport legislation in respect of casualty animals. We are also planning new regulations on the protection of livestock on farms and at the point of slaughter in this Session.
