Earl FerrersMy Lords, I beg to move that the House do agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 19.
It may be for the convenience of the House if at the same time I speak to Amendments Nos. 21, 23 to 30, 33 to 35, 260 to 264, 276, 277, 279, 280 and 282 to 286. Although this group of amendments cover a lot of paper, they are largely technical and seek to correct and to improve the drafting of provisions relating to appeals by the requesting state and the fugitive both under Part I and in amendments to the Fugitive Offenders Act 1967 and the Backing of Warrants (Republic of Ireland) Act. I commend the amendments to the House
