98 After Clause 50, insert the following new clause:

"Access to papers etc. of governing bodies

?quote>.—(1) The Secretary of State may make regulations requiring the governing body—

  1. (a) of every county, voluntary and maintained special school; and
  2. (b) of every institution of a kind mentioned in section 50 of this Act;
to make available, to such persons or classes of person as may be prescribed, such documents and information relating to the meetings and proceedings of the governing body as may be prescribed.".???quote> ?quote> (2) Documents and information required by the regulations to be made available shall be made available in such form and manner, and at such times, as may be prescribed.".???quote> 99 Clause 53, page 53, line 5, at end insert "but does not include a governor appointed in accordance with any provision made by virtue of section 5 of this Act". 100 Page 53, line 5, at end insert— "exclude", in relation to the exclusion of any pupil from a school, means exclude on disciplinary grounds;". 101 page 53, line 6, leave out from beginning to end of line 8.
