My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lady Young will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is being made in another place on South Africa.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Gas Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 p.m. for approximately one hour and that during this adjournment the Second Readings of the Corneal Tissue Bill and the British Shipbuilders (Borrowing Powers) Bill will be taken.
