HL Deb 18 March 1985 vol 461 c328

3.3 p.m.

Lord Denham

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Glenarthur will, with the leave of the House, repeat in the form of a Statement an Answer to a Private Notice Question in another place on cervical screening.

It may be for the convenience of your Lordships if I make a short statement about the re-arrangement of certain items of business this week. The Report stage of the Administration of Justice Bill, which in the event was not finished last Thursday, will now be concluded as first business tomorrow. In consequence, the Committee stage of the Trustee Savings Banks Bill, which was to have taken place tomorrow, will now be taken as first business next Thursday. Finally, I should mention that the Committee stage of the Land Registration and Law of Property Bill will not now be taken this afternoon, and no alternative date has yet been fixed.
