My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Gowrie will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on banking supervision and Johnson Matthey Bankers.

It may be for the convenience of the House if I also announce that the Report stage of the Local Government Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 p.m. for about one hour, and that during this adjournment the Third Reading of the Hospital Complaints Procedure Bill, the Committee stage of the Hill Farming Bill and the Third Reading of the Further Education Bill will be taken.
