HL Deb 25 February 1985 vol 460 c816

3.4 p.m.

Lord Denham

My Lords, it may be for the convenience of the House if I announce that, owing to the temporary indisposition of my noble and learned friend the Lord Chancellor, which he very much regrets, the Report stage of the Administration of Justice Bill will not now be taken this afternoon. A new date will be settled as soon as possible.

Lord Elwyn-Jones

My Lords, on behalf of the House, may I wish a speedy recovery for the noble and learned Lord the Lord Chancellor.

Lord Denham

My Lords, I am most grateful to the noble and learned Lord opposite.
