HL Deb 09 December 1985 vol 469 c9
Lord Denham

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Trefgarne will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement on British participation in the SDI research that is being made in another place.

It may also be for the convenience of your Lordships if I announce that it has been arranged through the usual channels that the House will now sit this coming Friday, 13th December. The main business will be a debate on the current proposals for a Channel fixed link. This will be preceded by the Third Reading of the Okehampton Bypass (Confirmation of Orders) Bill.
