HL Deb 20 November 1984 vol 457 cc491-3
The Chairman of Committees (Lord Aberdare)

My Lords, I beg to move the first Motion standing in my name on the Order Paper.

I regret that there is a small error, but an important one, in the list of names of the Offices Committee, in that the name of the noble Lord, Lord Gibson, has been inadvertently omitted. His name was among those agreed by the Committee of Selection. I beg to move.

Moved, That the Select Committee of the House of Lords Offices be appointed and that as proposed by the Committee of Selection the Lords following, with the Chairman of Committees, be named of the Committee:—

—(Lord Aberdare.)

The Lord Chancellor (Lord Hailsham of St. Marylebone)

My Lords, the Question is, That the first Motion standing in the name of the noble Lord the Chairman of Committees—with the addition he has suggested—be agreed to?

On Question, Motion agreed to.
