HL Deb 08 March 1984 vol 449 c367

3.27 p.m.

Lord Molloy rose to move, That the proceedings of 10th February last be vacated.

The noble Lord said: My Lords, when the Bill received its Third Reading the usual privilege amendment before the Bill was sent to the Commons was omitted. Such an amendment is necessary because of the financial implications of the Bill. The purpose of this Motion is to enable the error to be corrected by giving the Bill another Third Reading and including the privilege amendment before the Bill is finally sent to the Commons. I beg to move.

Moved, That the proceedings of 10th February last be vacated.—(Lord Molly.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.

Bill read a third time; an amendment (privilege) made; Bill passed, and sent to the Commons.
