My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Trefgarne will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement which is to be made in another place on an attack on a British vessel at Bandar Khomeini.

It may also be for the convenience of the House if I announce that the Committee stage of the Housing and Building Control Bill will be adjourned at approximately 7 p.m. for a short period for dinner and that during this adjournment the Motor Vehicles (Variation of Speed Limits) Regulations 1984 and consideration of a Commons amendment to the Merchant Shipping Bill will be taken.
