§ Lord Denham
My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Bellwin will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on the Serpell Report.
I would also, with the leave of the House, like to make a Statement about next week's business. On Tuesday of this week my noble friend the Leader of the House told your Lordships that there was likely to be a debate on the report of the noble Lord, Lord Franks, next week. I can now confirm to the House that the debate will take place on Tuesday next, 25th January, on a Motion in the name of my noble friend the Leader of the House. The Report stage of the Health and Social Services and Social Security Adjudications Bill will now be taken on Tuesday, 1st February; and the debate in the name of the noble Lord, Lord Mackie of Benshie, on the report of the Select Committee on the European Communities Committee on the olive oil market, will now be taken on Thursday, 3rd February.
