§ The Lord ChancellorMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 2. This is a drafting amendment to take account of Section 11(2) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1983, which has been passed since the Bill was drafted. That section provides for the 1983 Act to be cited together with the Merchant Shipping Acts 1894 to 1981 as the Merchant Shipping Acts 1894 to 1983. The present amendment enables the present Bill, too, to be cited with those Acts. I beg to move.
