HL Deb 22 November 1982 vol 436 cc716-7
Lord Denham

My Lords, at a convenient moment after 3.30 this afternoon my noble friend Lord Trefgarne will, with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement that is to be made in another place on Community steel discussions. This will be followed by my noble friend Lord Skelmersdale who will, again with the leave of the House, repeat a Statement on the sale of Britoil shares.

With the leave of the House, I should like to inform your Lordships that an Unstarred Question by the noble Lord, Lord Tanlaw, on the Scotch whisky industry for this Thursday was inadvertently omitted from the Order Paper when it was reprinted last Thursday. The Unstarred Question will be tabled today and will in the normal way be available in print tomorrow.

Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede

My Lords, I was under the impression that the Unstarred Question was put down for this Wednesday.

Lord Denham

My Lords, I thought I said "this Wednesday", but I had a nasty feeling after I had spoken that I had said "Thursday" by mistake. I am most grateful to the noble Lord, Lord Ponsonby of Shulbrede, for putting me right.
