§ 107 Clause 45, leave out Clause 45.
§ 6.37 p.m.
Earl FerrersMy Lords, I beg to move that this House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 107. As I explained when speaking on Amendment No. 101 (the "Sandford" clause) the purpose of Clause 45 has been achieved by subsection 1(a) of that amendment and therefore it follows that Clause 45 is redundant. The present amendment provides for its deletion.
§ Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendment.—(Earl Ferrers.)
§ On Question, Motion agreed to.
