The Earl of Avon

My Lords, I beg to move that the House doth agree with the Commons in their Amendment No. 55. This is designed to extend the scope of Part I of the Bill, so that it applies not only to the land area of Great Britain but also to the territorial waters adjacent to Great Britain. Some of the species given protection—in particular, the porpoise and the dolphin—will be found in territorial waters. My Lords, I beg to move.

Moved, That this House doth agree with the Commons in the said amendments.—(The Earl of Avon.)

On Question, Motion agreed to.
